LEAD LEVEL DESIGNER
As the lead level designer you will work closely with the creative director and team leads to create highly directed, large, immersive game levels. You will lead a team of designers and are expected to have leadership abilities as well as being a great craftsman yourself, leading by example.
You should have strong technical knowledge and easily get into a new engine and game editor if needed.
You need an understanding of setting up complex game worlds with focus on player choice and experience / strong interest in creating multi-path levels with a multitude of game mechanics.
You need strong artistic, directional skills as well as understanding and respect for the player, putting gameplay and accessibility as the focus of the experience.
You need to work well with team members from all other departments in the team as you are a central point of assembling the entire game experience.
You need to be interested in and focused on gathering user data and incorporate the feedback into the game to improve the gameplay quality.
